For Authors

The Editorial Board of the academic periodical “Strategic Review” (“Przegląd Strategiczny” ISSN 2084-6991) warmly welcomes contributions focusing in the field of contemporary international relations, international law, internal and international security and strategic studies. We welcome both theoretical and empirical contributions, and papers adopting either a single or multi level analysis.

“Strategic Review” welcomes submissions in any of the following sub-domains: (1) Theory of Security; (2) International Relations Theory; (3) International Security; (4) Geostrategy; (5) Terrorism and antiterrorism; (6) Security and Economy; (7) Energy Security; (8) Human Security.

All submissions will go through the “Strategic Review” regular double-blind review process and will be evaluated by two qualified academic reviewers. The periodical “Strategic Review” is collaborating with reviewers representing (among others):  Institute for Western Affairs, Gdansk University, Jagiellonian University, Lublin University, Szczecin University, Warsaw University, as well as reviewers from Denmark, Russia and Ukraine.

The periodical “Strategic Review” has introduced procedures necessary to eliminate cases of “ghostwriting” and “guest authorship”. Authors are obliged to assure that copyrights of third parties have not been breached. All authors are also obliged to assure that their articles are original works and have not been published, submitted, or accepted elsewhere in any form.

Submissions should be directed to: strategi@amu.edu.pl. The Editors will be pleased to discuss possible articles for consideration. The journal does not have any Author charges.

Please, follow the instructions for authors and bear in mind the review procedure and publishing ethics adopted by the academic periodical “Strategic Review”.

The editors of the Strategic Review journal, following the guidelines of COPE – the Committee on Publication Ethics, have adopted rules of ethics for scientific publications, which apply to authors submitting texts for publication in the journal, as well as to reviewers and members of the editorial board.

Authors of the articles recommended for publication are required to submit (by regular mail) the Transfer of Copyright Agreement form – an exclusive licence for the “Strategic Review” publisher to publish a manuscript in printed and electronic form.

Authors are asked to read the Open Access Policy rules adopted by the journal.
